Heino Collection
The Heino Art Foundation collection was built over several decades by Raimo and Raini Heino and their son, the gallerist Rauli Heino, and it is one of Finland's foremost private collections of contemporary art.
The Heinos donated the collection to the Heino Art Foundation in 2015. The collection has 2234 works of art and they date from the 1950s to the present. The works include paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographs and moving images. The Heinos have also donated their graphic arts collection of 321 works to the foundation. There are works of art in the collection altotogether by 336 artsts. All the artworks in the collection have been selected by the Heinos themselves, based on their common preferences.
